Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-09. This policy explains what information MN Construction collects through this website and how it is used.

Draft pending owner and legal review. It describes the website as built; it is not a statement of compliance with any particular law.

Information you give us

When you submit an estimate request, consultation request or message, we collect what you enter, which may include:

  • your name, email address and/or phone number, and preferred contact method;
  • the project ZIP code and, optionally, town;
  • the service, property type, your role (for example owner or property manager), project details, timing and an optional budget range;
  • for consultations, the dates and time windows you suggest;
  • optional photos or PDF plans (up to 8 files). Photos are re-encoded when uploaded, which removes embedded location (GPS) and camera data.

We do not ask for a full street address in the online forms. If a site visit is arranged, we collect the address directly from you.

Information collected automatically

  • Security data. To prevent spam and abuse, we store a one-way keyed hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string with each request. These are cleared automatically after about 90 days.
  • Attribution data. The site records which page you first arrived on, the referring website (domain only) and campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or an ad click ID). This is stored in your browser for up to 90 days and, if you submit a form, with your request. It is removed from request records after about 13 months.
  • Analytics (only if enabled and only with your permission). If we turn on Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, analytics cookies load only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Analytics events never include your name, contact details, address, project description or files. You can change your choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
  • Anti-bot check (only if enabled). Forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated spam. Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser for that purpose.

How we use information

  • to respond to your inquiry, discuss your project and prepare estimates;
  • to send you an email confirming we received your request (if you provided an email address);
  • to protect the website and our systems from spam and misuse;
  • to understand, in aggregate, which pages and campaigns lead to inquiries;
  • to send occasional marketing emails only if you ticked the optional marketing box. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send automated marketing text messages. If you choose “text message” as your preferred contact method, we use it only to reply to your inquiry.

Service providers

We use service providers to run the website, and they process information on our behalf:

  • web hosting and database (Hostinger);
  • our email provider, to deliver notifications and replies;
  • a private cloud storage provider for uploaded files, if uploads are enabled;
  • Cloudflare Turnstile and Google Analytics/Tag Manager, only if enabled as described above.

Retention and deletion

Inquiry records are kept while they are useful for responding to you and managing any resulting project, and as required for our business records. Requests identified as spam are deleted after about 30 days. You may ask us to access, correct or delete the information you submitted by contacting us through this website. We may need to keep certain records where the law requires it.

Security

Submissions are sent over encrypted connections. Request data is stored in a private database and uploaded files in private storage that is not publicly accessible; only authorized staff can view them after signing in.

Children

This website is intended for adults arranging renovation work and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
